Bank Statements and Redaction

Bank statements are sensitive evidence files. InstaClaim routes statement uploads and redaction through backend services so credentials and provider endpoints are never exposed in the browser.

Upload statements

Upload statements only to the organization and project that owns the evidence. Validate file type, size, and ownership before processing.

Run redaction

The rebuilt redaction adapter must call the discovered Azure redaction service from backend or worker code only. Track job status, retry safely, and return clear errors without leaking provider details.

Download redacted outputs

Download redacted PDFs or related outputs from authorized report and statement workflows. Keep original files, redacted files, and generated reports linked for auditability.

Best Practices

• Do not expose Azure credentials or direct redaction endpoints to frontend code.
• Keep redaction events in the audit trail.
• Re-run report exports after replacing or redacting statement evidence.
